The Los Angeles Chargers have added a veteran wide receiver in D.J. Chark. He instantly becomes a top target for Justin Herbert and the offense in LA. Chark made a decision this week that may scare some fans of the team.

Kenneth Murray Jr. is the last Chargers player to wear the number. His stint with LA was less than stellar. Murray was a liability in the pass game and often missed assignments as one of the top LBs on the depth chart.
He recorded a measly 52.9 PFF grade in 2023. 2022 was even worse. Murray was rated as one of the worst linebackers in the NFL that season with a PFF grade of 47.8.
Now, Murray is in a starting role for the Tennessee Titans.
Murray has always been an impressive athlete. Maybe, they can mold him into a capable starter. That did not happen with Los Angeles.
As for the Chargers, their fans weren't the biggest fans of Murray over his final two years with Los Angeles. His flaws showed up consistently, and the defense, as a whole, was one of the worst in the NFL for much of that time.
