Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes collaborate with digital artist Mad Dog Jones for special Miami GP merch

The special edition merchandise is available for all the fans to get their hands on before the stock finishes. Even George Russell was spotted advertising the caps designed by the artist. However, Russell’s cap wasn’t as flashy as the seven-time world champion’s. Hamilton’s iconic love for fashion might be one of the major reasons behind the difference in design. Additionally, Mercedes’ long-time partner Puma will also be involved in this deal.

Mercedes has collaborated with Mad Dog Jones for the previous Miami GP as well

This isn’t the first time that Mercedes collaborated with Mad Dog Jones for the Miami GP. The team had also done a collab with the same artist during the previous edition of the Miami weekend. Mercedes’ challenger was fit with an NFT (non-fungible token) in the rear wing during the 2022 season. Hence, the collaboration this time around will be a great way to showcase the artist’s creativity and also Mercedes’ availability to promote such artists in the world.

Apart from this, Mad Dog Jones also designed the helmet for Lewis Hamilton during the 2021 season. The Briton took home the race victory at the British GP. Hamilton’s home race in addition to the innovatively designed helmet became a great spectacle for the fans. Hence, Mad Dog Jones continues his impressive work with Mercedes for the third time in the 2024 season.
